Hugry Ghost Festival

Today marks the first day of the lunar seventh month - the Hungry Ghost Festival.

Heard some weird 'meowings' from the cats in my neighbourhood last night. A bit strange when all of them started to "moan" at the same time and it carried on for about half an hour in the wee hours of the morning! I guess it should be around 2-3am cos the skies are still dark. Maybe they've seen something. Or maybe they're mating? Well... because of this, my eyelids felt very heavy today. Think I can doze off any moment from now, especially I've just had my lunch! :P

Finally got mum to go to BEST to buy the fridge and washing machine yesterday. Mum's had this trust in NATIONAL products, so we bought a fridge and washing machine bearing the label "PANASONIC". Not a bad buy 'cos there's FREE Takashimaya Shopping vouchers to go along with the purchase. I've got another $150 worth of Takashimaya shopping vouchers and adding on to the $150 which I collected previously from my purchase of the Air-conditioners, I can spend $300 on water flasks, rice cooker, nice dishes, saucers and cups, and maybe a blender, iron and vacuum cleaner from Takashimaya Shopping Centre!!

Wasn't able to buy a frame for my jigsaw puzzle yesterday with mum around. Not forgetting the CDs which I had wanted to buy! - Jay Chou's "Qi Li Xiang", Zhang Zhenyue's latest album, Fan Wei Qi's Greatest Hits, and Ocean's album. Maybe I should go down to Sembawang to buy it later? Or rush down to Chinatown to get it? Yawnzzzz... Think my first priority is to buy the jigsaw puzzle frame tonight. Or else my poor Winnie the Pooh puzzle has to shift here and there, and pieces are falling despite applying glue on it!
