New Home

Finally living in my new home.

It is tough, initially. I couldn't sleep well. The feel is very different.

On Saturday, I tried to sleep at 11pm, but I just couldn't make myself fall asleep. Tried listening to some music from the radio but that didn't work either. I was already up by 7am. Sunday was worse! I was unpacking till 12am, but didn't seem sleepy at all. Tried to sleep, but was very hot, maybe yesterday I was too 'energetic' from the moving. I made 8 or 9 rounds with my 3 nieces to carry most of my stuff. Now everything was dumped into the study room. You should take a look at the rubbish dump I created man!

I hope I can sleep peacefully tonight.

Asked second brother to come and help me to carry the computer down and try to set up the system for me, in the end, he told mum to ask me to learn to do it myself! WAT NONSENSE is that? So irritating.

Brother sent a flower basket to my house on Saturday. He also gave mum $5,000. What a time to give her the money. Just when we had already finished with most of the purchases. But I think the money will come in handy when I pay for the misc. fees, utilities... ...

Joanne was already crying on Saturday evening. Sis-in-law had to call me and let her speak to me. After that, April started crying too.

Yesterday evening they hung around my place till 9pm then go upstairs to sleep. They were eyeing on the ice-cream! haha... April and Eunice were more interested in my books. They wanted to borrow from my 'library' so I made them each a library pass and warned them to take good care of my books. I will only allow them to borrow 2 books at one shot, and return them in 2 weeks.

Think the 'library system' can only start next week cos I really have a headache sorting out my 'rubbish dump'! ARGH!!! I felt lost in a heap of rubbish! Thanks to all my collections - postcards, letters, greeting cards, letter pads, stickers, stamps, first day covers, magazine cuttings......
