Chinese New Year Eve

Had a sumptious Reunion Dinner at my eldest bro's house with my mum, my elder & second brothers' family.
We had Hainanese Chicken Rice, 2 types of chicken (White & Roasted), Roast Duck, Sharks' Fin soup, Scallop, Ngoh Heong, Prawns, Venison, Abalone with broccoli, Pork Chops, Pineapple, and fish! Really full right now!
The CNY movie shown on Ch8 just now starring Louis Koo & Cecilia Cheung is a spoof from Harry Potter. Farnie! haha... but a bit ridiculous!
Right now, I am using my brother's scanner to scan in some photocards which my 2 nieces and I took at Century Square on Thursday. My nieces are happily applying nail polishes!
Felt quite tired somehow... hope I can 'survive' till 12 midnight! Supposed to stay awak throughout the night so as to let our parents enjoy longevity! YAwnzzzzzz.... The food is still swimming in my tummy...

New Office!

I was really worried that I might end up in the wrong office building this morning as I walked out of Tanjong Pagar MRT Station. Luckily the instructions were quite clear and I found "Temasek Tower" in just 5 mins! Phew! It's more convenient than SGX Centre 2!

My "fish tank" is quite cool! Can see Capital Towers opposite me! But the MD is right behind me!!! ARGHHH!!! But I think I'm not the target he's spying on. Heard Wendy Tan mentioned that when "kiam pa face" walked into the office around 10+ this morning, the MD was looking at her and when she's about to enter the room, she the MD will keep a close look-out for "kiam pa face" who always comes in at timings of her own preference!

Had a meeting with my client this afternoon and we had to adhere to a very tight deadline! ARGH!!! Hopefully we can get it out by 2nd Feb!!! Sigh ..... and I suay suay kena the February Monthly Gig! ARGHHHHHHH!!! so busy liao still kena all this kind of SHIT! Worst is its the FIRST Monthly Gig of the year! and they already set the date at 17 Feb!!!! Think "kiam pa face" is on leave and I would be back from my HK trip! God! Pray that everything will go smoothly!!!

Right now, I'm in my CNY mood and I'm going to leave the office before 7pm today! : )

Farewell, SGX Centre 2!

Today marks the last day of our working day at SGX Centre 2. By the time we came back from lunch, our computers and phones are already plugged out... That really makes us start to seal up our boxes and prepare to do 'nothing'... I had 4 boxes in total. Actually I don't need so many boxes, but I don't really want to make my boxes so heavy for fear that it will give way. I wonder how many boxes does Miss Keng have???

Went to Ocean Building with Juliet & Jennifer for lunch since Juliet say she knows of a cheap place recommended by her client where we can have a mini celebration for our bonus. The place is called "Sarracino". It serves Italian food. Quite yummy and the prices are quite affordable. I had the Mixed Seafood Spaghetti. It costs $9.50 (Very Pasta Mania prices), and a bottle of Snapple at $3.50. Its pretty noisy cos of all the people talking at the same time. It sure is a good place to watch Ang Mohs! cos there were so many of them around the place!!!

After that I went to check out the exchange rate for HK dollars. I asked if I want to change S$500, I can fetch H$2,336.44. Hmm... must go to internet and look for currency converter to find out if it's worth that much!

Went to watch "ZODIAC - THE RACE BEGINS" last night with Emily at Lido. Supposed to be the Gala Primiere and Fann Wong, Dennis Chew & the director Edward Fu were there. The show is very suitable for young kids, but not for adults. Quite farnie when the animals actually start to sing at certain parts...

No need to work tomorrow! HOORAY!!! Hope I don't get too much enquiries from the clients cos I realised that even the web-based email server is DOWN! SHUCKS!!!!

Shall chill-out for the time being....

Miss Keng, the Star "IDLE"

Miss Keng sure knows how to "KENG" to have her way man!! The whole wide world is waiting for her to finish her work!!!

Just now Jenn told her "Do you want us to camp overnight?" and she can reply "Can I don't camp overnight?" That's when Jenn sarcastically told her "I want you to go home but after you've finished your work! What I'm afraid is do I have to camp overnight?" Didn't that dumb bell get it?

She sms us this morning telling us she's going to see a doctor as she had diarrhoea and vomitted yesterday. MY FOOT!!! Then when I replied her sms saying "do let us know if she needs to follow up with anything after she's seen a doc and if she's going to be on MC". She replied to say she's already at Raffles Medical in shenton way!! Strange!! If you are that sick, how come you can travel all this journey to come to Shenton Way to see a doctor! I guess it must be she didn't manage to finish her work over the weekends! She was forced to bring a laptop back to work out some unfinished business.

Well... when she stepped into the office, she don't look too sick to me! From what I know, she can even eat lunch without vomitting one single grain of rice!! And till now (8:32pm) she still haven't finished her work which was supposed to be due last Friday!! Oh my god! If there's lightning outside the building right now, can you please strike her? She had such a blessed life all this while!!! It would be very amazing to see her down on her luck for once to be struck by lightning! After all, I read from somewhere that in Singapore, the chances of being struck by lightning is the highest compared to any parts of the world!!! So God! Please inform me when you are about to send down lightning to strike her, I'll make sure I don't stand beside her!

Anyway, she's going to be crowned the Star "IDLE" of MEC! And I think she really deserved it!

When Juliet offered to buy Old Chang Kee for us, Miss Keng actually asked for a curry puff!!! Goodness gracious me!!! Someone who is suffering from diarrhoea and vomitted can still eat curry puff??!??!?!?! Wat a big fat liar!!! I think Juliet must be very naive to believe that she's sick! Anyway, she's been throwing tantrums! and I shall not be bothered with crappy people like her! Just felt that she should be sacked for her laziness!

I just pray that when we shift to the new office, she will behave herself and work hard. Or else....

And I can see her willingness to stay back tomorrow, even if she has to camp overnight. 'cos everyone of us will be called into the MD's room tomorrow to know how much BONUS we can get..... well.... if Miss Keng gets 1 month bonus, I think she should be struck by lightning 10 times! and if she gets 1.5 months bonus, she should be struck by lightning 10 times, and drown in the rain!

Tired Sunday

Kena woken up at 6:50am this morning by the ringing phone! ARGH!!!! Mum's not in... thought she went upstairs. Phone rang again around 7am! God!! Why is this person so persistent??? Today is SUNDAY!!!!! Doesn't that person have to sleep??!?

I made my way to the living room to grab the phone and it was the lady who sells chickens in a wet market asking for my mum. Apparently my mum called her many times but she didn't reply 'cos she's too busy, but she had helped to reserve some chickens for my mum.

ARGHHHHHHH!!!! Can't get back to sleep after that..... so I started to pack my room... Its now spick and span... I had a hard time scrubbing the floor making sure that the dust particles are absorbed by my cloth before taking the mop out to mop the floor.... can feel my back aching now cos of the shifting and mopping ... YAWNZzzzzz...... very sleepy....

Rained around 4pm today... stange... it seems that this is the "preferred timing" to rain... I hope it does not happen tomorrow since its a working day. More importantly, its MONDAY... argh! Monday blues..... ok.... I shall go and have an early night... I can feel the challenge of Monday now!
