First Thai Food

Had lunch with Y&R today after at a restaurant in Purvis Street named "First Thai Food". Its a very 'nostalgic' place and the food is relatively nice : )

There were many paintings on the wall, ranging from Thai kings, to Van Gogh's famous "Sunflowers" and Keanu Reeves. We were all very curious about the Keanu Reeves painting, hence we asked the woman at the cashier and she told us its because that's her daughter's favourite actor!!!

Jiun Tang is very farnie.... she got all her entertainment news WRONG!!! They were discussing about Keanu Reeves, saying he's gay but then he's not! and then how sad his real life was... and that he only got famous after 1 movie and Jiun Tang said its "RUSH HOUR"!!! haha... Gerald was quick to point out that "Rush Hour" is Jackie Chan!!! Should be "SPEED"... Poor Jiun!

Also realised that she don't own an MSN account!!! haha... and she wasn't a techie after all! Can't even adjust the volume on her iPod Nano!!! Goodness Gracious Me!! maybe she can sit side by side with Miss Keng!!!

I had a slight running nose liao.... cham liao..... Hope mum's flu tablets will do the magic!!!

Last night I left the office around 9:30pm and it was raining cats and dogs!!! I think I should say raining elephants as the rain is really really heavy!!!!! Frances and I shared a cab! The most irritating thing to happen was when we started calling cabs, all the lines were DEAD!!! I was so thankful Priemere Cab finally answered the call and a cab was coming our way in 10mins! PHEW!! Or else I dunno how long I'll be trapped in the office!!!!

Feel very 'stoned' now... maybe the medicine is taking effect... but I only dared to take 1 in the morning as that causes drowsiness...

How I wish it could stop raining the whole day!!! It really dampens one's mood, especially when its raining, and I need to work!!!! I prefer rainy days when I'm at home!!!
